Ed Sheeran is one of my favourite English song writer and musician so imagine my delight when Bren told me he got us tickets (courtesy of Sean) early this year to watch his first live performance in Singapore last month. Admittedly, this was the first time I've attended a concert (no, I didn't count watching The Click Five live about six years ago) with an audience of five thousand and I was in awe of the grandeur of it all. I've never been a fan-girl (read: no screaming and waving lit-banners and flashing lights of the sort) and I'm definitely not Ed Sheeran's Number One Fan but I do enjoy his music and a lot of them are on my Spotify playlists. My friends tell me there're artistes who interact with audience, and others who do it less. The concert ended quite abruptly and so many people we screaming for more encores... But Ed Sheeran bade his last goodbye, left and the lights switched back on. My goosebumps faded (this is how I gauge a good performance) but that night, I slept dreaming of blue eyes the colour of the Tenerife Sea and photographs and Lego houses.
