So what I was up to this February:

It was an impromptu full-house dinner date at Yoogane with my constants -- always thankful for the little meet-ups we have now and again because they make me feel that life may be pulling us by our noses but some things will always remain the same.

Ruth invited us to her 21st birthday party and she looked absolutely gorgeous that night. You can see the happiness glowing on her face :')

The following Sunday was spent burning under the scorching rays of the sun at Sentosa. What a voracious crew put together. Well... maybe just the boys. So I've never had to train for a game of Captain's Ball before but for Surf 'n' Sweat, Team Updawg met a couple of times to practice the throwing and catching of balls. We entered the semi-finals and came in 4th out of nearly 50 teams, after a lot of sand-kicking, perspiration-on-our-sunglasses and sweaty handshakes. Ended the day with a splash in the salty sea (I wish I could say pool) and some really tasty German fare.

On the eve of Valentine's Day, my brother came into my room and showed me what my parent's got him: a box of chocolates :')

So this year's Valentine's Day was rather uneventful. Who really needs a day to celebrate love anyway? I tell my family and friends that I love them almost everyday. So I spent half the day in school going for a make-up class and a midterm, which also explains why I didn't get down to giving out sweet treats to everyone on this day (which I do almost every year). It was just another Saturday not spent sailing and so I had time to get out of school, get out of home, get out of the sailboat and get out of the waters. And go out. Bren and I hadn't had a chill night in a while so we went for some drinks. Totally expected pairs and pairs of lovebirds up there but there weren't so many hmmmm. Anyway, for training the next day, Jia and I decided to wear our couple tees. We bought them together in school a year ago to commemorate Valentine's Day (hahahaha). Things remain the same :')
