Been honing the skills of my inner domestic goddess the past week. I actually really like staying at home because then I explore the various ways of settling my three (or more) meals in my preferred ways. I've taken a liking to blending fruits/yoghurt/nuts as well. My least favourite part of making food is washing up after. It sounds so spoilt but honestly, I wish pots and pans and utensils will just clean themselves up magically -- that'll be nice.

Guacamole Dip w Tortilla Triangles
Ingredients:
1 whole avocado
1 clove of garlic (chopped)
2 small onions (chopped)
3-5 cherry tomatoes (chopped)
3-5 pieces of mint leaves (chopped)
Salt (to taste)
Pepper (to taste)

Method:
Mix all ingredients together and mash avocado well till smooth. Cut ready-made tortilla bread into pieces and pop them in the oven for 3-4 minutes. Serve together.

Pork-and-Mushroom Red Pasta
Ingredients:
1 whole broccoli (chopped and cooked to preference)
3/4 packet of cooked spaghetti
1 can of pasta sauce
1 can of mushrooms (chopped)
5-6 cloves of garlic (chopped)
5-8 small onions (chopped)
2-3 tablespoons of rosemary/thyme/mint leaves
1 packet of minced pork

Method:
Pour garlic and onions into cooking wok and fry with oil till fragrant. Add leaves and mushrooms and continue frying. Pour minced pork into mixture and fry well till cooked. Add pasta sauce and any spice to-taste. Add a tad bit of water if mixture is too thick. Serve on top of spaghetti and with broccoli on the side (or in sauce).

Citrus Green Smoothie

3 stalks of spinach
1 cup of almonds (chopped)
4 mint leaves
1 teaspoon of chia seeds
1 whole apple (chopped)
2 stalks of celery
1 whole orange
1 cup of vanilla yoghurt

Method:
Blend well together and serve chilled.
