the sun was out 'til midnight

Have no idea where to start because I think I haven't been writing religiously for more than a month, boy have I missed this habit. So finals are done and over with (I'll get to that in a later post) but right now, some catching up starting from the last day of the semester:
Wrapping up thirteen weeks of school:
I remember feeling despondent and desolate in the first few weeks of the semester although I was always surrounded with friends. I couldn't seem to get used to the whole making-friends-and-not-seeing-them-again routine and how loneliness was part of the daily ritual. Nonetheless things really started picking up (but sadly we've come to the end) and I know I wouldn't have survived without them. Every joke and laughter that followed, every project and anxiety, every birthday celebration and outing. It's gonna happen every semester for the next three and a half years but I think I can get used to this life.
With my ultimate AW study-buddies (the most 'onz' and conscientious) I'm going to miss this mod the most. |
Favourite project group and our celebratory lunch at Strictly Pancakes after two gruelling presentations. |
First ever Starry Night I'd never forget (really not joking about that) --- our band concert/drinks/party/release night to celebrate the beginning of finals) that happens every semester |
And of course I spent it with the sailors --- a bunch of friends I feel completely at ease to laugh as loud as I can and be my stupidest around. |
With my sporties-fam Clara after her performance that night. |

Sending my brother and his friends to their prom (lucky boys ended their O levels even before my finals started) in my older brother's ride (which he safely lent to me). |

Nassim Hill Bakery (back again) with Aizhen where we had a really good brunch and of course worked hard for the next 6 hours. |
Ever so thankful for this best friend who's been there rain or shine (except not replying my texts when she's studying for her exams), our friendship shines like an uncut diamond. |

XLB buffet at Din Tai Fung with the sailors during study week (before the exams started). |
Another buffet with the family one weekend where we had a fill. |
Traditional cream cakes mom bought one day because she was reminiscing her childhood. |
Breakfast at Ya Kun with the sailors before heading back to the library to bury ourselves in our notes. |
