I haven't been writing as much and I've missed it so. We have finally come to the last week of school this coming Monday and I'm saving my thoughts on this for another day. In the meantime, I'm really getting the hang of all this and I can't say I don't like school now. Why is it that people only learn to cherish when it's really over? Nonetheless, it's been a really hectic two weeks and it'll only get better after submissions and my last presentation at the end of next week and I really cannot wait to lift these off my shoulders (and finally get down to studying for finals).

That aside,

I think it was a Thursday when I made lunch alone at home: grilled eggplants & cheese, roasted sugared pumpkins and apple-celery salad

Lunch @ a new bakery in SMU with my TWC groupmates (nothing special because all I remember is the three of us feeling extremely sleepy afterwards and becoming horribly unproductive at discussing our project)

(Not self-praise) Really good baked eggs-in-toast with tomatoes, onions and cheese for breakfast on a Sunday

First time having (not-so-cheap-because-we-were-at-Holland-V) hawker food with Cheryl in the three years that I've known her

Celebrated our first November baby's birthday in school on Monday. I remember all the failed plans and impromptu decisions but our surprise was carried out fairly well :>

With most of the sailing freshies

After our first TWC presentation (which we spent 3 weeks on...) with my favourite groupmates of the semester. Going to miss these two so so so much cos they've been the most supportive, most hardworking group members I've had this sem really.

Because next week might feel like hell, Cheryl and I decided to have a sleepover before we are torn apart by work, work and more work. We had a midnight baking sesh before going to sleep at 3am (when we both school the next morning):

Plain Janes: chocolate cupcakes that turned out surprisingly springy and soft (maybe we put a lot of baking powder or it might also be the chocolate emulsico we put instead of cocoa powder.

Chocolate Whoopie-Cakes with Caramel Espresso Buttercream (please refer to the video on how to eat cupcakes properly to understand why instead of frosting on top, we wedged it in between two halves)

We haven't seen each other for less than 2 weeks but it felt like ages I'm not even kidding. Always cherishing the very precious time we spend with each other because being in different schools is torturous seeing how we used to meet every single day the past few months.

All snuggled up in her favourite coloured-light

A trip walking up and down Orchard because I was a klutz and got confused between Royal Sporting House and World of Sports. Nonetheless, good time spent just being silly with my usual bff who, I must admit, sacrifices so much for me although I don't always show that I appreciate it that much.
